Visit of Air Commodore Fawad to NCHD Headquarters Islamabad, 2 July 2026: Air Commodore Fawad, presently serving as Director Student Affairs and Audit, Air University, ISlamabad visited the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) Headquarters. During his visit, he held a meeting with the Director General, NCHD, and expressed his appreciation for NCHD's collaboration with Air University by engaging its students in the No Child Left Behind the School (NCLB) initiative at UC-31, Islamabad, enabling them to successfully complete their community service requirements. The two dignitaries discussed potential avenues for future collaboration aimed at community development. Key areas of discussion included expanding community uplift initiatives, introducing robotics classes for students enrolled in Non-Formal Education (NFE) schools, and strengthening literacy skills among the illiterate population through EOTO, innovative and collaborative interventions. Air Commodore Fawad also visited the National Resource Centre at NCHD, where Ms. Farah Mastoi briefed him on the Commission's literacy programmes, on-going initiatives, and achievements in promoting literacy and non-formal education across Pakistan. Mr. Habibullah Khan, Director Education, NCHD, was also present during the visit. At the conclusion of the meeting, he thanked Air Commodore Fawad and the Air University team for visiting NCHD Headquarters and reaffirmed NCHD's commitment to strengthening collaboration with academic institutions in support of human development and community service initiatives.
