Pakistan Human Development Fund (PHDF) is registered as a non- profit company under the Companies Ordinance 1984. It has an independent Board of Directors which comprises of philanthropists from Pakistan and abroad (who have contributed US $ 100,000 each), a representative of UNDP, and three federal secretaries of Government of Pakistan i.e. Finance, Education, and Health are ex-officio members. So, PHDF is an example of public private partnership model which is established to ensure support and collaboration of private sector philanthropists and Government of Pakistan for human development efforts in Pakistan.
