Walk held to mark International Literacy Day 2013 Awareness walk was being held on September 10th, 2013 from NCHD HO to D Chowk, Islamabad. The purpose ofthis walk was to create awarenessamong the masses to get them realize the importance of literacy.
Students from Government as well as Private schools, NUML University, officials from Federal Directorate Education, BECS teachers and students, UNESCO staff along with NCHD HO staff participated in this walk. Honorable Senator Mr. Abdul Nabi Bangash graced the occasion as a Chief Guest.
The participants were holding banners and play cards inscribed with slogans, demanding quality education.
