Her Royal Highness Princess Sarvath has been active in initiating, supporting, and sponsoring activities in the fields of education, women's issues, family

In 1980 the Princess Sarvath Community College was founded in Jordan to provide young financially disadvantaged women with the skills and training to earn an independent livelihood. In 1995 she received the "Woman of Peace Award," granted by the Together for Peace Foundation based in Rome. Her Highness has addressed many local and international forums on issues related to Islamic culture, values, health, women, education, family, children and refugees.

He left in 1991 to establish Emerging Markets Partnership, a private investment management company in Washington D.C. He was appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan for an interim period in 1993. In October 1993, he returned to his private business and is currently Chairman and Managing Partner of Emerging Markets Corporation.

Abdul Sattar Edhi Jemima Khan

Abdul Sattar Edhi establ-ished the Edhi Foundation, which has grown to become the largest welfare organization in Pakistan. The foundation has over 300 centers

Jemima Khan has shown a passionate commitment to social causes. As UNICEF UK's Special Representative for Children in Conflict, Jemima Khan has launched the "Growing Up Alone"

across the country providing medical aid, family planning and emergency assistance. An education scheme has also been incorporated in fostering the development of various vocational activities such as driving, pharmacy and para-medical training with a great deal of emphasis on self-sufficiency. The Edhi Foundation is active internationally in the aid of refugees in the USA, UK, Canada, Japan and Bangladesh. In 1985 Edhi received the Nishan-e-Imtiaz from the Government of Pakistan. During the same year, Edhi and his wife Bilquees received the Magsayay award from the Government of the Philippines.

Conflict campaign. She has traveled to refugee camps around Pakistan and in Afghanistan and has worked actively to raise awareness about issues that affect refugee women and children in particular. The Jemima Khan Afghan Refugee Appeal, launched originally for the refugees of the Jalozai Camp, has been broadened into a long-term project aimed at helping Afghan refugees in several camps in Pakistan. Jemima Khan has worked consistently to raise funds both nationally and internationally, for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, which provides free medical care to cancer patients.

H.E.Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al-Nahayan    

His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is the United Arab Emirates Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 

He is also Chancellor of two of the UAE's three government-sponsored institutions of higher learning, namely United Arab Emirates University, established in 1976, and the Higher Colleges of Technology, established in 1988. He is also president of Zayed University, established in 1998. Sheikh Nahayan is also Chairman of CERT (Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training), the commercial arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology, which was established in 1996. Sheikh Nahayan is also Chairman of the Dhabi Group, Union National Bank, United Bank Limited, WARID Telecom International and founder chairman of Bank Alfalah Limited. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is also the recipient of Pakistan's highest civilian award, the 'Hilal-e-Pakistan', which was conferred upon him by the President of Pakistan in 2005.
